Vancouver Island and Beyond: Whispers From The Wild, through this book, my goal is to illuminate, celebrating what remains, and to remind us all that beauty and loss often stand side by side. To show what is at risk. If we do not speak, future generations may inherit only stories and the photographs.

I choose to speak with care, not accusation. I hope readers will receive this message not as condemnation, but as an invitation to look deeper, ask questions, and protect what little remains of the wonder that drew the world here in the first place.
